Selecting Your Monitor In the next screen you specify your monitor settings. Selecting the correct moni- tor is important in OpenLinux. If you choose a monitor definition that has much higher capabilities that your actual hardware, you risk damaging your monitor by trying to display video modes that it is not capable of displaying.
